James showers the people with joy!
This is a great DVD of the full concert from NYC's famous Beacon Theatre from 1998. It features James with supporting band and backing singers as he runs through many of his better known songs plus a few covers such as the wonderful Everyday and Not Fade Away. My favourite is the powerful Shower The People with great acapella harmonies. Also the ever popular Fire and Rain, You've Got A Friend and Handy Man are well performed. The picture quality is so good you can visibly see the persperation on James's brow as he crafts so much effort and feeling into his work. James likes to talk between songs and tell interesting stories that add to the ambience of the show. My only disappointment is inevitably that James will omit certain songs - sadly there is no Sweet Baby James but that apart, ...
