fabulos first album from WA
suberb first of WA it dates back to 1970, when all the group were friends. and produced nclassic rock. i wish it was so now,standout numbers are "handy" that has a great bass solo by martin turner,and the song turns into a jazz number! allso "phoenix" a tour defotrce in guitar p;laying.

Wishbone Ash first LP on CD.
Having followed this band since the 1970's they're very familiar and of course i appreciate their talent and unique sound,but it's nice to go back to where it all began.Definately recommend this to anyone who's just discovered their work,and would certainly recommend seeing them live.I saw them very recently onstage at The Met in Bury,Lancs,and what a hell of a show it was! Bands such as this,with their fifty year history,put most modern groups to shame in terms of sheer musical talent and the fact that they can perform live and hold an audience in the palm of their hands. There's also another Wishbone Ash headed by Martin Turner,one of the other original band members,which I've also seen and can recommend.Due to a legal battle over the right to use the name,he now calls it Martin Turner ...
