This album is one of the most influential albums of all time and is a highlight of Phil Spector's career. The title track of course is the most essential track of the album but the rest of the album is as well produced as this album. "I'll Never Need More Than This" is a true song and a pure feeling is expressed, nothing from the overwhelmed intensity of the heart is missed, everything is recreated with an almost perfect mastery. Tina Turner roars through "I Idolize You" like a hurricane, finally and definitively putting into music the link between R&B and Rock. Tina got a bigger commercial success in 80's and since then all world finally recognised her importance, but here you'll find a moment of her immortality, the reason why she is always listed in every Rock-anthology.This album is one of the most influential albums of all time and is a highlight of Phil Spector's career. This has got to be THE greatest Ike and Tina Turner album ever made. Together with Phil Spectre it is also the ultimate 'Wall of Sound' project ever undertaken. Anyone who loves Tina Turner or Phil Spectre will love the sound of this album,I can't praise it high enough.A true classic of Rock/Soul/Funk it encompasses many styles and yet is fresh and raw.
