Anything but "Simple"
The recipes are well written and well illustrated, but so complicated and using a lot of ingredients. I bought it as I thought the word "Simple" meant just that and that it would be a good introduction to easy Chinese cooking. Alas, not so! It is highly impractical for your average busy British housewife who just wanst to cook the occasional Chinese meal.Remove the word "Simple" from the title, and I may review it differently.The recipes are well written and well illustrated, but so complicated and using a lot of ingredients.
