If you want some C grade horror.
I heard of this title while watching Svengoolie and decided to get it. It's a general let down as far as a horror flick, but somewhat unique in how and what the monster is, which some kind of monster tree from a man that was wrongly killed. It's nowhere near the size I expected from the cover, which I'll blame myself for going on that. There is only one way to take it out, so it does have that going as a horror creature.I heard of this title while watching Svengoolie and decided to get it. Tabonga strikes!
They don't make 'em like this anymore. Let me say that I have a weakness for low budget horror & sci-fi films of the 50's and 60's. The hokier the better. And brother,this is hokey! A walking tree monster stalking a tropical island ,possessed by the spirit of a murdered man. I saw this on TV when I was a little kid and never forgot it. Class A for a B movie
Great B movie with lots of campy scenes. I’m near 70 now but I remember watching this with my son some 50 years ago. Our local tv station had monster feature films on Saturday night and we always tuned in for these great old movies with popcorn and sodas. Lots of good memories and goofy old scary movies.
