Unwanted Items – Returns
 
We offer a 14-day money back guarantee. If for any reason you are not satisfied with your goods, we will refund the price of the goods provided that they are returned unused and in original condition, together with the original packaging (if applicable), within 14 days of the date of the invoice, a copy of which must be returned with the goods. You must take reasonable care of the item(s) and must not open them. You will be responsible for the shipping costs both to and from your address. We cannot accept responsibility for returned items damaged or lost in the post so advise you take out postal insurance. To cancel your order you must advise us by email or in writing.

WEEE Regulations
 
The Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Directive is now UK law.
 
The legislation aims to make producers pay for the collection, treatment and recovery of waste electrical equipment.
 
The regulations also mean that suppliers of equipment like high street shops and internet retailers must allow consumers to return their waste equipment free of charge.
 
The amount of WEEE we throw away is increasing by around 5% each year, making it the fastest growing waste stream in the UK.
 
Much of the UK’s WEEE ends up in landfill, where the lead and other toxins it contains can cause soil and water contamination.
 
This can have a harmful effect on natural habitat, wildlife and also human health.

Customers must return their WEEE item to us within 28 days of purchasing their new item.

Waste Batteries and Accumulators Regulations
 
As a supplier of batteries, we are obliged under the Waste Batteries and Accumulators Regulations to accept waste portable batteries for environmental disposal.

Please be aware that while we will accept your waste batteries for disposal, this is unlikely to be the most economical or environmentally friendly option available to you.
 
Many shops and supermarkets, as well as some schools, town halls and libraries, in your local area will provide battery collection points that may be more convenient and economical for you, and in turn will provide a much smaller carbon footprint.

    A value torch but very effective.

    This tiny torch is able to is able to beam intense light in 'close to' situations e.g. finding things in awkward places and positions. I use rechargeable AAA cells in this torch and recharge these using a simple solar charger. Note that the torch relies on fairly high current through the 9 LED's and so the battery contacts must be kept clean. Note also that the body is aluminium and the thread to battery compartment is delicate - treat it gently. In the picture you can see the one of the three rechargeable AAA cells, also note the the luminous spot which is an adhesive pad bearing 'glow in the dark' powder mixed with Araldite. This latter enables the torch to be found in the dark - very useful in hotels. I ticked the 'durable' box above which I think is fair for normal use but the ...

    Mini torch

    Can't say if its durable or not as I haven't had it long enough, but it looks tough so I hope it will last a long time. And it fits easily in my bag .. or pocket .. or just on my bedside table. The colours are good too. My last little torch .. that I had until recently .. was brilliant as well, but sadly I threw it out to the bin men by accident. :-(

    For the price its hmm ...meh .it works i guess.
