    Inexpensive alternative to Oregon Chain

    I go through chains pretty quickly, as I am clearing a 15 acre lot, and occasionally hit rocks or catch a vine, so I was looking for an inexpensive alternative to the Oregon chains. This chain suits my needs perfectly. It cuts as well as the Oregon, seems to stay sharper longer and is slightly easier to sharpen. It is also more forgiving when a vine forces the chain off the bar (the Oregon chain guides would be all chewed up, requiring replacement and filing/grinding, but this chain either stops before becoming damaged or has very light damage, so you can reinstall the chain and continue cutting). The only down side I've experienced is that the Oregon chain is very smooth when cutting, whereas this chain is noticeably twitchy. Otherwise I would have given it 5 stars.
