Expensive! But worth it in the long run.
Why is a set of ratchets worth almost $100? Because they will save you from having to replace a more expensive freehub body! I know from experience. The install is super easy and there's lots of videos about it. The closest thing you need to tools is you skewer to push out the freehub. Make sure you only use a light amount of grease on the parts and do a light cleaning while you have the freehub off. Just wipe with a rag, don't get crazy with cleaners and such. A Pricey Upgrade but Worth it (I think)
Changes the character of the hub completely. I have a 240S but a friend did his 350, same easy swap. Engages A LOT quicker. Quiets the noise a bit as a nice bonus. Best recommendation is, I wish I'd done this a couple years ago. And yes, I had a hard time with the "Is is a good value" question. It was for me, your mileage may vary.

Major improvement in MTB hub engagement
The stock DT 350 ratchet has only 18 teeth, making uphill technical sections on your MTB a bit tedious at times as you spin a half revolution or so before the hub engages. This upgrade significantly improves this "lag" in rear hub engagement. It should be standard.

smooth, quiet, faster shifting
I went from a 24 to this 36 tooth ratchet to quiet noisy shifting. It definitely shifts quieter, faster, and smoother. The free wheeling sound is also quieter. A great upgrade!
