Classic Bird Guide
This book is a classic and the format still makes for a great field guide. Though the species distribution of some birds has changed dramatically, over the past decades! I have two copies and have owned one of them since childhood. Now cheap enough to have one in the car and not be too precious with it! Highly recommended.
