    Beauty & Grandeur in a Box Set!

    I gave this incredible box set to my Mom just yesterday as an early Mother’s Day gift. She saw the shortened version on PBS during their pledge drive last month and absolutely fell in love with the beauty and grandeur of places she’s not able to visit in person!     Incredible overview of America's greatest treasures including history that is fun to learn.

    This is a totally awesome overview of the National Parks with an incredible amount of history included throughout. In my opinion this should be required viewing in every American classroom. The writer makes history come alive and makes learning about our national treasures, the National Parks, come alive. This is a must have DVD for all American households and would be appreciated oversees as well.

    My favorite places and things to do!

    Great history, photo and film archives by K Burns. As a child camping with my family I have visited about 1/2 of the locations during the 1960s, many fond memories. (born 1951) We still explore and enjoy these treasures of nature today. Many thanks to Muir and Roosevelt for making this possible.
