Amusing reads
If anyone hasn’t had the joy of reading any of Georgette Heyerdahl books you have missed a fail safe pleasure. Her gentle and superb humour and brilliant stories are ideal for days when you feel down or unwell - or for any time at all. They can be read and re read again and again and never let you down. Her use of language is perfect - like a modern day Jane Austen. Don’t miss it.

I read many Georgette Heyer books years ago and have just rediscovered them. They are a wonderful mixture of character, historical setting and a plot that pushes them on. This one I don't remember from before but was an interesting twist on our view of arranged Regency marriage.
