A truly fascinating book
This was a cult book when it was first published in the seventies. I was absolutely captivated by the beautiful illustrations, the fairy tale and most of all the cryptic clues. It can be enjoyed by any level and the fact that the clues suggested where a real piece of treasure was buried made it more captivating. The treasure has since been found and You can Google the solutions now which I was fascinated to read. I am now in my sixties and still think this book is a must have and have bought a copy for my ten year old neice who I hope will be as fascinated with it as I was.This was a cult book when it was first published in the seventies. Had this book brand new in 1979 when the book first came out. At school we tried to solve the clues. No idea where my book went. Had to have this stunning book back in my life. This was immaculate. Had that “proper book” smell Thank you for taking me back to 1979
