Adequately covers the topic.
I decided to buy this book so I could do my own electronics work on my guitars now, and in order to build a guitar some time in the future. The author's language and tone is informal and biased at times, but does an adequate job of covering the topic. The layout of the book could be better. In several occurrences, a necessary picture is on the next page from the three sentence paragraph explaining how to do a certain task. Also, the author writes the book in such a way that it is difficult to flip to a certain chapter an learn something from it without reading the whole book. Regarding the pictures, there is a PDF version that the owner can download in order to have the diagrams in color as the book is in black and white. In conclusion, the book covers the topic for which it was ... It actually should have been printed in color; the wiring diagrams are hard to read in shades of gray. The book is informative and we're happy with it.
