THE SPACE MUSEUM: The TARDIS jumps a time track and the travellers arrive on the planet Xeros. There they discover their own future selves displayed as exhibits in a museum established as a monument to the<BR><BR>Galactic conquests of the warlike Morok invaders who now rule the planet. When time shifts back<BR><BR>to normal, they realise that they must do everything they can to try to avert this potential future.<BR><BR> <BR>THE CHASE: The travellers are forced to flee in the TARDIS when they learn from the Time/Space <BR><BR>Visualiser taken from the Moroks' museum that a group of Daleks equipped with <BR><BR>their own time machine are on their trail with orders to exterminate them.

    If you invited a bunch of "Doctor Who" fans to list every single episode in order of favouritism, it's fair to say that neither of the two serials on this DVD twinpack would be in the top half of their results. You might forgive "The Space Museum" for this, as after all, younger fans may not have seen the previous VHS release at all or have a general aversion to all things Black and White, but "The Chase" is a Dalek story, and the Daleks have always been popular haven't they? Is there such a thing as a bad Dalek story? No there probably isn't, but if there were, then "The Chase" comes awfully close. Certainly, they're not at their best in this serial. The production is pretty lazy at times, but this is pretty normal for sixties "Who". Hartnell was fluffing his lines quite regularly ...
