Delivery quick and item well packaged - worked perfectly straight out of the box and has greatly improved the efficiency of our multi fuel stove, despite its quite necessarily small size. The fan is well built and operates virtually silently; this can be a fault with some similar equipment, according to reviews

Quiet whisper
I was a bit dubious at first. How can this little fan possibly make any difference? My stove it's fitted within an old fireplace like I'm sure many of you have done the same, only to find that the confines of the opening doesn't let much of the stoves heat radiate out. Then I looked into these "eco-fans" and though I'd give it a try. This one cost about £42, probably the smallest physical sized on the market. Follow the instructions supplied (not rocket science) set fan on top of stove. light stove. Once stove reaches about 50 degrees the fan starts to spin, when the stove on full tilt, this clever wee fan blows the heat from the stove into the centre of the room. Simples. No batteries. No power leads. All you can hear from the fan is a little quiet whisper. Wish I bought one ages ago. ... I was a bit dubious at first. How can this little fan possibly make any difference? It’s a good fan and it also came with a log stove thermometer. It’s been a good tool to know exactly where the optimum temperature for burning logs and to learn where the sweet spot is so you aren’t sooting up the chimney unnecessarily. You can notice the difference when using the fan but you have to place it over to one side of the flue pipe to get the best use of it which can be rather tricky on a small compact log burner like mine but we have found a good place for it. But bare that in mind when you order one. I highly recommend them. It’s a good fan and it also came with a log stove thermometer.
