For an airport/beach type thriller, it's definitely better than most. Characters and a degree of intrigue keep you turning the page. A great literary work it is not - plot is a tad transparent to those who read a lot of this stuff. If you like novels such as 'Girl on the Train' and 'Truly Madly Guilty' you'll love this; if however you're more into the likes of 'Wolf Hall', 'Never let Me Go', My Name is Red'and similar - forget it!For an airport/beach type thriller, it's definitely better than most. The storyline is quite gripping and it must be because I only read books in bed and usually fall asleep after a few pages and it takes me weeks to read a book. I have to say that this book must be ok as I'm getting through it quite fast.
