      brilliant album.

      i absoloutely love the saw doctors and like all the albums i own so far & this one was no exception.another great album from a great group.

      All the Way From Tuam and More

      My first copy of this CD was on the Sham Town label. It has got a bad scratch on it and won't now play properly. I was delighted to get this copy as I think this album is one of the best that The Saw Doctors have done. Sometimes moody, sometimes vibrant the whole album is a mix in just about the right proportions. Lines like "I stood beside you in the chip shop, I was dyin' with the thirst" are so evocative as are the words to the Green and Red of Mayo. Then again there is Me Heart is Livin' in the Sixties Still; a catalogue of that decade. As it says on the notes on the insert, "if you remember the sixties you weren't there". Halfway through the album is the reflective, almost mournful Midnight Express. This is a band to be seen live (although Pearse is no longer with them) but failing ...
