Chomsky peels back rhetorical claims that the US and its allies fight for the end of ethnic cleansing. Instead he sets out to reveal a world where victims of human rights violations are either worthy or unworthy , citing the unworthiness of Turkish Kurdish victims. He sounds an alarm as he investigates the damning evidence that the West knew NATO bombings would escalate Serb atrocities and that diplomacy efforts were passed over in favour of war.
