    Much much better quality than I thought

    Normally I just give a common review, but this time I really impressed. It sent from China take only 11 days. I already bought one Joby mic which cost me £35. I can see the quality is not good as Rode one online, but I bought this Boya mic on the way. It only cost me around £20, today it arrived, quality is much better, forget about the product box, it looks cheap but mic is worth the price you paid. I give up the idea to buy another Rode. This is the way!

    Great little microphone

    Great focus on the subject & surrounding sound decreased well when using the dead cat packaged with the mic. Price is fantastic as the quality of the mic is comparable to other brand mics.

    Perfect and the sound quality is top spec

    This microphone is amazing. Did a small sound test with my Nikon D5500 and it worked 10x better than expected. The crazy thing was the built in mic (as good as it is) only has the standard sound range, but this microphone picked up birds tweeting from a great distance away (which was unexpected).

    Really good!

    It’s sturdy, compact and delivers good sound. Such a bargain! Works really well, is super simple to use and the components are study and seem to have been made well. Joy to use! If I had to find fault, I’d say the shock mount is not very ‘shock proof’ and it can be a little pitchy without fluffy on. But that’s easy to solve.
