      Why change what you know works ?

      I've been using Castrol oils in both my cars and motorbikes for fifty years and I've yet to have a reason not to continue. To me, the engines seem to run quieter and I believe the claims that it is an oil that protects your engines from the first start. I've yet too see anything in the cars and bikes I've owned to make me change my mind whether they been old 'bangers' a classic or a new vehicle. I've recently sold my 14 year old bike which ran with Castrol, and after back surgery, I've treated myself to a new Suzuki motorbike which is about to have it's first service and will run on Castrol oil from then on.If it ain't broke, don't fix it!

      Semi not Fully Synthetic - Would have been nice to see in selling headline, my error..

      My fault I ordered the wrong type in terms of semi not fully synthetic. Can still be used in my bike but previously been fully should have read more carefully the full descriptions. Value good compared to Halfords/dealership charges. Quality it's a premium brand and recommended by Triumph so fine in that respect. Been nice to see SEMI or FULLY in the title somewhere.

      good oil.

      I always use this oil in my Yamaha XJR1300, the bike has done 130000 miles and still runs like new. It is hard to review oil, would the bike be any different with another make? I simply do not know, Yamaha recommended Castrol GTX in 2002 when I got the bike and this has evolved in to Power 1.

      Excellent Oil

      High quality oil thats well priced, Ive used this for years in my motorcycles and quadbikes with no problems, the 4L size bottle is perfect as it fills a motorcycle to the full mark with about 1 1/2L left over to top it up every so often.

      My 1300 Yamaha has only ever had this oil in it, it has done 50 thousand miles, I recently had the cam cover off to check foe wear, it was like new. Says it all really...
