The saw gives a nice cut in hardwood ply and the preset depth for the initial pass gives a neat finish on both top and bottom surfaces. The 36V power makes light work where my 18V saw has struggled. Dust extraction is good though not perfect so a quick pass to pick up the few bits the extraction missed is a good idea. Although the clamps and bag are not Makita branded they work well. I would have liked to see a bit better corner protection in the carry bag so I carry it carefully.
