Was very well packed, thankfully as I brought 3 of these kits in the same transaction and the postal box arrived damaged obviously bashed about by either Royal Mail OR Australia Post. Thanks to the way they were packed, all 3 kits survived unscathed but box had been ripped open - again, not the fault of seller but rather the postal services.

    Fine wire soldering

    Trying leaded solder for the first time on 32AWG wire used on a 1950s record player. I was struggling with the non leaded solder. Immediately success so very pleased.

    Avoid

    Very poor solder. The kind you fear buying when looking for cheap solder. It barely melts, clogs up the tip, doesn't seem to contain any flux, even with high heat and extra flux paste it doesn't flow right.
