The rug is as described as far as I can tell. Considering what we paid, we feel it's good value for money. The rug does feel a bit synthetic and on the cheap side, but the truth is, it keeps feet warm and it does look nice.
Overall we are pleased with the purchase. If you're looking for a super smooth finish though, this isn't it.
Bonus points for the fact that the dog hasn't stopped sleeping in it since we got it.
