Great stuff
Superbly simple solution to a problem I didn't know I had. Only recently noticed heavy moisture build-up on my windows, dehumidifiers didn't really sort it out, not quiet ones anyway so I found this stuff online by accident. My advice would be once you've cut required length, soak in warm water for a while and gently wring it out a few times. Give the window a quick clean too then apply the damp Dripstop to glass. The strip is slightly dimpled on one side so use the flattest side to press onto glass. It will stick after a few tries and just leave it. Wring out strip in morning and repeat. It works very well at collecting and holding water from running all over the sill, it doesn't cure condensation problems, it just contains the spilling and it works really well at that. However, the fixing instructions seem to be counter-intuitive as in order to make the strip adhere to the glass, it has first to be run under a tap to make it wet! It then has to be wrung out to eliminate any surplus moisture and it will then will stick to the window. However, if it dries out (say if it is placed on a window near a radiator) it will drop off and will have to be re-soaked. Small points but worth mentioning. I don't know for how long the strips are effective but I am guessing they can be used and reused for quite some time.It does broadly what it says on the packet. Does exactly what it says it would do. You can cut to the length you need, moisten & put where you need it. Super absorbent. Just wring out excess water from the strip & put back again. If the strip dries out it will shrink but just moisten and it goes back to the original size. I wish i bought this sooner as it stops the condensation running onto the window sill, no more wiping up water. Absolute rubbish
What a waste of money. I'm surprised at spontex as their products are normally good. Once cut to size it will not sit on the glass unless it is completely wet. This defeats the object as it will not absorb any more water. Do not buy
