    very good, fair price

    I needed to get my files from the ssd from my previous laptop. it's very easy to use. you don't need to have any special skills, just connect the cable to the ssd, and plug it with the usb to your computer. automatically you see it as another storage drive, and you can reach the files and folders.

    It's good... unless you're planning on cloning an Intel SSD

    I bought this product in order to migrate windows over to my new Intel SSD. Unfortunately, the cable does not allow recognition of an Intel SSD and your computer will only see a storage device. I found out about this after I had purchased the cable and was forced to do a little trouble shooting. I see that others have had the same problem as well. I guess the product works fine... unless you have an Intel SSD.

    Handy and affordable way to make use bare 2.5 inch HDDs & SSDs

    These StarTech USB 3.0 to 2.5 SATA HDD/SSD cables are an excellent, fast and very affordable way to make use of any 2.5 inch drives you may have on hand without need of an external housing or installing in a PC. Over time I've accumulated a number of these small drives from doing upgrades on different laptops, etc., or just taking advantage of sales on the newer SSDs that have come on the market. These cables make it so easy to have storage drives available on a few seconds notice, for doing back-ups, cloning drives for new installs or even just to test drives. Once the cables are attached to the drives they work just like any other external drive, and when using the newer USB 3.0 ports they can be just as fast as some of the newest drives. The only concern using them is the bare drives ...

    Easy solution for disc access

    I use this almost daily at work, takes next to no space and can fit in my laptop case or even a pocket. It provide a 2,5" disc with power and data connection. I use this to format discs, transfer data and recover data from damaged computers. The price is very low, so it's great value. ,

    Just BUY IT!
