The item is a bit heavier than I expected. I need it to tap in pins on back of picture frames - hammer needs to be much lighter. So it is not suitable for my purpose but my husband will make use of it - he is delighted!

    Nicely weighted.

    Good quality, and nicely weighted for veneer and panel pins. The cross pein serves a useful purpose in that it prevents you from bashing your fingers and thumbs with the business end of the hammer when pinning veneer or panel pins into position. Manual dexterity comes with age and experience, so this tool is suitable for beginners and experts alike. Paul, Retired carpenter.
