      Good timer

      Very easy to use and over-ride does a proper job, reverting back to pre-sets automatically, unlike cheaper segment type. I like the pins for setting as apposed to the over complicated electronic types.

      Loud in operation

      This item does what it advertised it would, for me turning lights on and off at certain times . However I can't give it more than 3 stars due to the loud noise it makes when on. It is very loud compared to the ones I have used previously. A shame: I particularly wanted a mechanical device with small metal pegs as I have found they are more reliable as to times than the digital, and "section controlled" ones. The package was delivered very promptly and came well packed. Thank you.

      An excellent product.

      II have used this style of timer before, .my previous ones have been long lasting in use. The only timer I have found that can be used to switch off only, therefore ensuiring that an electrical item is not over looked having been switched on manually.. Excellent feature now that it has storage for the pins when not in use therefore reducing the risk if them getting lost. Highly recommended.

      well constructed and does not get hot over long periods of use.

      Purchased this timer for my tropical fish tank lights as others that i tried where plastic segmented and also lost time up to 5 minutes daily. This product is bang on with time,neither losing or gaining and so easy to set up,just select time segments with pins provided plug in and forget.

      Simply the best

      Simply the best and so easy to use. Have used this style of plug in timer for many many years and have tried others but always go back to this timeguard model. Models have changed slightly over the years but still do the same job We wouldn’t use any other brand.
