Product Information

Based on the 1995 Academy Award-winning movie Babe and its 1998 sequel, Babe: Pig in the City, Babe and Friends is a puzzle game which has players guiding the little pig safely back home.<br><br>Babe must help a sheep and his friends to safety through five levels filled with obstacles and puzzles. Along the way, he'll receive hints from reading signposts and talking to other barnyard animals such as Ferdinand the Goose, Flealick the Dog, and others.<br><br>While Babe can roam freely through each level's map, puzzles must be solved in sequence. A password is available at the end of each stage, allowing players to continue from the last level completed. Items and obstacles Babe will encounter include logs, a trampoline (used to bounce over obstacles), hay (to stop animals, plug holes, and cross streams), directional fences, and fence pads.

    babe and friends preview

    Puzzle fans that enjoyed the BABE movie series will find a lot to like here. BABE AND FRIENDS, a single-player puzzle game for Game Boy Color, has the little porcine hero guiding his herd through 40 levels that span such locations as the farm, the airport, and the city. In each level there is a checkered flag, to which Babe must take a herd. The sheep aren’t very good at finding their own paths, so Babe has to walk them through every step of the way. Clear obstacles, set up roadblocks to make detours, and generally do what you have to in order to make a safe route for the sheep. Watch out for obstructions such as carts in the airport and rushing rivers on the farm. Detailed still-screens of all of Babe’s friends appear between the levels to move the story along.     Wonderful product at a great price

    This product was just as advertised. New. My son found an old game boy color at an auction but we were unable to find games for it. I was pleased to find several on eBay at a good price. I cannot tell you much about the game itself other than the fact that my son plays it a lot.
