Product Suitability:
Please note that all products are designed for Home use and carry a home use warranty only, unless stated otherwise. Equipment purchased from us and used in a non domestic environment will render the warranty null and void unless the equipment description states it is suitable for commercial use.
 
Warranties:
All new equipment sold by XS Sales is covered by a minimum one year parts and labour cover (excludes parts-only products) for domestic use only, (excluding consumable parts), unless the item states it is suitable for light commercial or commercial use. In many cases the warranty is greater than this. The warranty on equipment we sell varies from manufacturer to manufacturer. It can include a full on site repair facility or a 'back to base' warranty. In some cases, where there is a minor fault, the manufacturer will send a part by mail for the customer to fit (This warranty excludes consumable parts and damage caused by accident, or misuse). Equipment sold for home or commercial use, is warranted for use in a normal habitable building environment. Manufacturers reserve the right to cancel warranties (on certain types of electronic equipment) if equipment is used in a non standard environment, this may include external buildings such as Sheds and Garages, and areas close to a swimming pool, where the ambient temperature varies significantly from a standard environment. Warranty for light commercial or full commercial equipment varies, please contact our sales department to clarify warranty status on individual equipment.
 
If an item develops a fault, please contact us stating the equipment you have, (brand and model number), serial number and a brief description of the fault. We will either arrange to send a part for the customer to fit, if this is practical and simply applied or affixed by a reasonable person, send an engineer to site, or in some instances, ask that the goods be returned to our warehouse for examination. Goods must be well packaged prior to collection. No goods will be accepted into our warehouse without prior authorisation. We will then repair or replace the equipment with an equivalent or better model and deliver the goods back to the customer at our expense.
 
Please note all equipment is warranted for mainland UK use. In certain circumstances, we may extend this to cover parts and or labour out with UK mainland, or we may offer a ‘back to base’ labour warranty. In cases of ‘back to base’ for goods out with UK mainland warranty, the customer may have to cover the cost of shipping to and from ‘base’, for further information, please contact us prior to purchase.
 
Consumable Parts (Resistance Equipment):
Cables, chains, belts, upholstery, spring load adjustment pins, pulley wheels, pulley wheel bearings and all springs.
 
Data protection:
All customer information will be treated under the terms of the Data Protection Act. We will not pass on your details to other companies. We may identify and inform you of other products and services offered by Powerhouse which would be of interest to you. You must tell us if you do not wish us to do so.
 
We do not store credit card details nor do we share customer details with any 3rd parties.

All prices quoted are correct at time of going to press, due to circumstances beyond our control these may change, including rate of Value Added Tax. The price levied will be confirmed at the time of ordering.
 
Incorrect/Faulty goods must be returned to us before replacements will be dispatched.
 
Refunds will be made in the original payment method and within 14 days of our receipt of goods. All refunds must be authorised by our staff.
 
NB. All due dates shown on the website are an estimate of when delivery is expected in to our warehouse and is updated regularly the closer stock gets. Any back order products will be normally be despatched within 3 working days of the goods arriving in our warehouse.
 
Your statutory right to cancel:
Under Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancllation and Additional Charges) Regulations, you have the right to cancel most products purchased from us using distance means and receive a full refund within 14 days of delivery. We must be notified of your intention to cancel in writing or email and the cost to return the goods will be the responsibility of the customer. Please note any items that are clearly personalised or made specifically to the consumers specifications are exempt from these regulations. We also reserve the right to make a deduction from refunding the full purchase price if we believe (on examination of the returned goods) that they exhibit use (including self assembly and attempts at disassembly). The amount of deduction will be based on the extent of the diminishment in the goods value.

    Gives a nice easy workout

    Nice product at a great price. Relatively easy to assemble. A first glance at the parts list it seemed that there were nuts, bolts & washers missing, but not so, they were all there. Making the electrical connections was slightly confusing, but it didn't seem to matter which wires connected to each other - the computer displayed everything correctly. The bike gives a good workout & I find 20 minutes at a good cadence brings on a sweat. I'm 5' 10" tall and find I need the longest setting on the length bar. Anyone much over 6' might find it a bit short. However, my 4' grandson can barely reach the persistence even on the shortest setting. I like the heart rate monitor and the reading compares well with that displayed on my Fitbit activity monitor. Overall it's a nice machine and a quick and ...

    Lightweight but effective

    I bought this bike as I suffer with arthritis in my knees and had been using a recumbent exercise bike at a gym, with great results. This bike is not of the same quality as the gym bike but,after one week of gentle use, I am starting to feel the benefit of exercise again. I had a few problems assembling the bike as the instructions were not clear about which screw or bolt should be used where.But after raiding my own supplies, I was able to use the bike after 4 hours. As I am 74 and arthritic, I am happy with that. I do struggle to stand up from the saddle though as it is a little too low for me. overall,I think this bike is a good purchase for me.

    Looks good and is comfortable

    It is solid and dose not move. With the back rest it is comfortable. Instruction manual easy to understand. Assembling took a while for us as we are old. We use it every day and it gives us the exercise we need.

    Recumbent Bike

    It took 2 people to put together, fairly straight forwardly. The tension cable was tricky to pull into position. The instructions were not always clear about nuts versus washers and we had 2 washers left over after build. Overall, a strong, sturdy machine that looks good, is comfortable and is fit for purpose.
