    Lightweight and great surprise gift

    Gave as a surprise gift to a friend who LOVES Nintendo, and chess. The reaction was overwhelmingly positive -- however, the pieces feel EXTREMELY light and cheap! They could have been a bit heavier, or at the very least have weighted bases. Anyone who plays chess will understand perfectly. For what it is, and the price I think the set however is still great. Packaging, contents, and board were all medium quality with dashes of great effort and care to make sure it captured the "essence" of Mario! Great gift, or chess set to have around the house.
