GREAT FILM with UNBELIEVEABLE SPECIAL EFFECTS
I must admit I am a fan of Roland Emmerich since Independence Day first appeared. This film has it all - a good cast, not big names but very good actors - and special effects to blow you away! What can be said is that you see where all the money went on the screen and not big bucks for the cast! I chose the BluRay version for obvious reasons, more clarity and DTS audio - it did not disappoint. O.K. at about 2.30 hrs. it`s a long film but there is plenty to keep your attention. Give it a whirl you won`t be disappointed. Exciting nonsense.
Amusing. Over-blown. ‘The Day After Tomorrow’ was a more measured experience - this was stretching credulity to the absolute limit; Both were popcorn movies, so who cares? As movies almost entirely based around cgi and mostly without much of a story go, this wasn’t the worst.
