    Fantastic

    I use these for the lead and rear car in Mini convoys for South Lincolnshire Mini Owners Club and with other groups. I also use it when out in my mobility scooter, my husband knows where I am without it seeming like he's checking up on me by calling me. So easy to use and I have the comfort from knowing I can charge via a micro usb to either my car USB port or my power bank. I see they are water resistant, now I'm not planning on going for a dunk but it's good to know that in bad weather they won't get ruined. I also like it that the red emergency light comes on should they get wet, maybe if I dropped it in a pool and I was trying to locate it. Doubt it will happen but it's ready in case. I also love the torch and whistle. Again, unlikely to be used but there just in case. Brilliant ...

    Excellent value and appear great quality

    The Motorola radios are used at our inland sailing club and cover the reservoir adequately. You may get 10 km if transmitting from a mountain top to another in perfect line of sight. More realistically, at ground level, with foliage etc. be happy with 2 to 3 km - line of sight (ish). 2 km if there's a slight "bend" around a headland causing diffraction of the signals. They charge well using micro-USB so that is really convenient compared to the older types. We're not going to expose them directly to water - that would be tempting fate but the construction does appear to be as water-resistant as might be expected. The carry case is great, They arrived well packed.

    Worth the money

    We have a canal boat and we love to go off with our four boys whenever possible. We bought three packs of them and they give us not only the ability to communicate about upcoming locks, other traffic etc., but also peace of mind when we let them go exploring or just playing with the dogs. I don’t like to think of the number of walkie talkies we have sent to a watery grave over the years, but not to tempt fate, these are standing the test of teenage boys (and they float). The only problem we have is keeping the kids off the air! Not the cheapest out there, but by far the best we’ve used.
