It tells you to format the SD card to NTFS however the camera can’t read that. You need to format to FAT-32 And it says Recording started and auto records when power on. Press button to stop recording. Video quality is good too. Not sure about how to do the date stamp though, instructions don’t mention that. Comes with Mini USB power adapter

You will not know until you take the card out and plug it into your computer to view it, which is more than a bit hit or miss.
