    Lovely little film. I enjoyed the adventure and characters. Martin Freeman is a grand actor and perfect for Bilbo Baggins. Can’t wait for the next instalment

    Good film!

    I enjoyed the film. However, there was a problem with the DVD itself. It was still sealed in cellophane so it was essentially brand new. Two or three chapters in the middle of the DVD were faulty. The picture froze and when it did move on, the sound was indecipherable and the picture fragmented. Once past the fault all was well again.

    Brilliant film.

    I had forgotten what a brilliant film this is. Characters are all brilliantly played. The whole film is brilliant. It does become very dark when the hobbit and dwarves move further towards their goal with unpleasant characters trying to stop them from achieving what they want. Brilliant film, direction, production, everything is excellent.
