Great Tone
These strings were one of various steps to mellow out a custom Fender Telecaster that included a custom neck and pickups. I tried various sets of strings and these were the best. If you want to retain that bright, twangy, hillbilly Tele tone, then these are not what you want, but if you are seeking mellower blues or jazz tones and like to switch on that neck pickup, with or without the bridge pickup, these are your strings.These strings were one of various steps to mellow out a custom Fender Telecaster that included a custom neck and pickups. Tonal Heaven
In my twenty years playing electric guitar I have tried, and continue to try, lots of strings for my different axes. These remain my running favourite, mostly because of their even handed warmth and overall harmonic balance. I prefer 11's on my semi-hollow body's and 10's on solid. It's just my thing, and I LIKE IT !!!

These strings have excellent tone and intonation. Once tuned, they stay in tune throughout my practice sessions. They are long lasting, well balanced, and easy to play when compared to 10s from other sources.
