Use a 22mm ratchet spanner for easiest lifting/lowering instead of T bar, worked best with flat plywood on top instead of adjustable posts, narrow top (150mm) means extra chocking advised for safety as scissor mechanism can tilt a bit. Used for my 2005 Bonneville - either instead of centre stand or as well as to lift front end level for oil/sprocket changes and chain lubing.
