  • My Kind Of Therapy

Long before Butch Walker became a household name due to his work as a producer, a solo artist, and a member of Marvelous 3, he used to due it up hair metal style with this group, Southgang. In my opinion, this is the best work he was ever involved in. "Group Therapy" is the second album by the band. Guitar licks and delicious choruses was what this band was all about. I actually prefer the debut just a tad more, but "Group Therapy" is still a fine follow up. Led by the powerful vocalist Jesse Harte, this band should have made a bigger name for themselves. But, due to the arrival of grunge, many a talented musician with long hair felt the sting. Southgang was no different. But, if you're lucky enough to snag a copy of this cd which is becoming increasingly difficult to find, you ...

  • Group Therapy * - Southgang (CD 1992)

Not as good as their first album but a good attempt still. Alot have dogged this album but I like it. Its not that easy to come by these days. They may have been short of material for this effort but it still rocks. Many bands blow you away with the debut then kill you with their follow ups but this second serving is a good listen. Couple good rockers on here that will have your toes tapping. More southern influence can be heard here to. So take a chance, read the reviews and make your own decision.

  • great album lost from the increment of grunge era.

This a good solid release from the early ninety's band Southgang, it's the second release from the band although not as catch as the first release it still has very catchy hooks on this gem.

  • poor hard u s

this record is a big disapointmend.it is a poor hard u s.no inspiration they try to be clones of best hard u s bands like firehouse, baton rouge, tangier, ect...but they have not the class and the talent of this masters.they play in second league.

  • Enjoyed the music!

I loved most of the songs, but some were not to my liking. It's been a LONG time since i've heard this band and it really took me back!!
