    Best version by far.

    By far the best telling of this story with an outstanding cast. Period sets and costumes are perfect. It's too bad that no decent DVD or Blu-Ray version of this has been released and that this VHS edition is copy-protected, so you can't burn your own DVD-R from it. One of the many excellent productions from the WonderWorks PBS series of long ago.
