This is a replacement button for a dual flush cistern. This type of cistern allows for the control of water volume when flushing, ideal for areas that suffer from draught, or for those who are environmentally conscious. This particular button has been made to fit a twico flush valve. It features a reflective, chrome finish, well suited to bathrooms featuring silvered taps and fixtures, traditionally paired with white utilities.

    Very happy

    Very adequate product. In my experience, the rods have a finite life. This is the second time I have replaced this particular mechanism but we have lived here for 16 years and the cistern is situated in the family bathroom. I'll be back for another one in 8 years' time.

    Decent for the price but generic fit, so needs some modification

    It's an OK product but it's a bit flimsy so you have to be careful with it. On arrival, one of the buttons was damaged in the packaging, but fortunately I was able to get it replaced immediately. The fit is generic so I had to cut down the coloured bars to suit my toilet - it's very easy to get this wrong so the best solution is just to cut off a small bit at a time until the fit is OK and the toilet flushes correctly. if you're not careful you can cut slightly too much off and the flush won't work any more. In summary, it's an OK product but does require some modification to work - and it's not the best of quality. But at this price it's still good value.

    Value of product

    I'm not convinced that the product is good value. However, the prices are pretty much the same everywhere; I just think that as always "spare parts" are overpriced by the OEM.

    Exact replacement!

    Arrived very quickly with no issues! Comes with instructions on how to change old for new and taken me all of 5 minutes to change! Very pleased with the item and will be buying a few more as spares. Gr8 supplier!

    Poor Quality Flush Button

    This is part of a poor quality flush system that I think Ideal Standard no longer uses on new equipment. As I have three loos with this system, I either change all cistern mechanisms, or replace the bits as they break, 'pop off', etc. Good supplier, just poor product that I hope one day to escape from.
