Lens is in Mint/Mint- or 9.5 out of 10 cosmetic condition. Nice clean lens. No dings or dents. Very clean optics. Few small dust spots inside that can be seen with a flashlight only. Smooth lens focusing. Good working lens aperture with no oil on the blades. Great lens to use on your Leicaflex R film camera or a mirrorless digital camera with the proper adapter. Comes with lens caps, and has a built-in lens hood. The built-in lens hood on these models wobble somewhat, and DO NOT stay in the fully extended position. Just the way they were made. Overall nice clean Leica R compact wide angle zoom lens. Very sharp.”

Practical, all-around zoom lens for Leica and other cameras
Very practical lens, because it covers the most frequently used focal lengths. I like mine, which has a nice, dampened zom ring and focusing wheel. This lens uses a 60mm filter, which can be hard to find unless it's from Heliopan. Other than that, excellent and handy zoom.

This is One Great Lens!!!!!!! At a Great Price. I bought this lens to go on my Lica Camera body that I bought for $51 dollars because the light metter does not work. If you know about film and lighting you do not need a working light meter in your camera. The lens fit right on and it is Cristal clear, and works Great with my Lica. Thanks !!!!!!!

Like a Tank
This baby is built like a Panther Tank. It's heavy, it's big, it's sharp as a tack from 28 all the way up, fantastic bokeh if you're into that plus DOF from now to now turned up. I've dropped it (with caps on) 2x onto cement sidewalks and 400 meter clay tracks over the years and she's been manhandled, shaken, unscrewed and tossed around by East German, Turkish, Saudi, Nigerian, Hungarian, Romanian and Thai Border Guards and baby still works just fine. I'd say it's one of the best "walking around the city" lenses ever made.This baby is built like a Panther Tank. This is a good lens
This is a good lens, I use it with Canon 600D thro' the coupling af adapter. I have several Leica r lens (70-210, 180, 90, & 60). So I only bought Canon 600D body only. The only weakness of this lens is the color fringe.

Leica quality lens made by Kyocera, though there is a lots of distortion, but tack sharp compare with Canon 28-70L or 24-70L when use on my 1Ds with a proper adapter.
