    iPad

    Good product overall with just a few niggles: programs often unexpectedly quit (lack of processing power?) and the screen isn't the most responsive (have to press quite hard for it to work) so becomes frustrating for internet browsing. However screen colours very good and it's great for iPlayer/Netflix etc and casting to ChromeCast.

    A joy to use.

    I love it so much I bought an imac. An ipad is always on and excellent for web, email on the go or sat in front the telly. The lack of flash is a litle iritating e.g. BBC web site video but being free of the microsoft shackles is good as is the relative simplicity of apple. Expect to have to put some learning time in to get the best out.

    Interesting device, should prove more useful in the future.

    My wife and I are both retired and we decided to start to enter the 21st century. We are now using some of the features to talk face to face with our relatives living in America. It has taken a little time to learn how to use the iPad but with trial and error we are getting there. We are about to start on the maps and sat nav we have downloaded before we go on to iTunes. It is a slow process but with patience we should get there. We have not yet purchased a sim card as we do not yet expect to need the iPad with this feature for a while yet. Emails have started to arrive so we are again learning to use this feature.
