  • Historical AND Musical!

This book combines history and music perfectly! I have to read it for class but I keep forgetting its a textbook. I've loved learning about the journey that musical theatre has taken throughout history as well as the political and societal settings that made each musical such an important part of reflecting and even defining history. I'd encourage any history or musical lover to read it!
