It's nice to have this running. The last one I had lived for about 10 years and there was some overload that melted the power connection. BTW that's 10 years of being on all the time.I retrieve old HD and use them for media storage. Reuse.

Arrived quickly, with SATA and memory cards works as expected. However on legacy IDE drives, the power input on these drives is not always in exactly the same alignment, due to manufacturing tolerances, therefore the position can be adjusted on this unit, despite this, and great care taken to insert such drives, this unit failed on the IDE section with only the second drive inserted. Leaving me with only ½ the unit functional. THEREFORE NOT recommended for IDE drive use.
