    Don't expect easy miracles

Firstly I would like to say that this product is capable or restoring badly clouded headlights to a near new condition but don't expect it to be an easy five minute job. Follow the instructions closely and do not scrimp on the various phases of polishing (at least five minutes each) and you will get good results. In my case with a 14 year old car I had to go through the 4 step cleaning process and then repeat all four steps again to get the best results, so in total about 45 minutes per lens and this used up all the wet and dry paper. However the effort was worth it for nearly new looking lenses, a great improvement.

  • Most critical review

    Reasonable value showed some improvement.

I wasn't to sure about having to use abrasives on the front of my headlight but as long as you follow the directions, horizontal then vertical with the different grades the results are quite surprising then follow up with the polish. For my headlights which were de laminated as well as a bit foggy it took considerable effort and in the end i used a mop on the end of a drill. With regard to de-lamination this kit can't get rid of this. De Lamination occurs within the plastic and in my case on the inside of the headlight. I wasn't overly convinced by the sealer supplied, having to re apply this regularly didn't sit right, so i bought an aerosol headlight sealer lacquer instead, much more permanent. Overall i did see some results with this kit and de lamination aside the headlights are ...

  • Quixx headlight restore kit.

Never used this type of thing before, but my headlights on my 2006 freelander were starting to yellow at the top. I saw these were given a 5 star rating by Auto Express, so decided to buy. The kit was more than enough to sort both my lights out, with a moderate bit of rubbing with the paste & cloths supplied, got them clear & shiny. Applied the sealer polish stuff after & all looks great. Still have plenty of the products left so can be used on other vehicles as required in the future. Very happy with results.

  • DEFINITELY Recommend

Looked around at a few different headlight restoration kits but inconsistent reviews were putting me off. They all had one common fault, the kits didn't have enough resources/materials to properly restore the headlights, especially when it came to sanding down the headlight. When I saw that this kit came with multiple of the same grit sandpaper I thought it was definitely the one to try as my headlights were quite badly faded. As you can see in the photo, it did an absolutely amazing job, my headlights are pretty much brand new again. It took me roughly 30 minutes per headlight during the sanding phase, definitely worth putting the time in to get them right in the end. I still have enough sandpaper to do another pair of headlights and enough polish to do several pairs. Time will tell ...

  • Better than 3m

Don't normally write reviews but really impressed with this. The pack comes with 3 grades of sand paper and clear instructions. Starting at the roughest to finest sandpaper then a good 20minutes of the polish and I can say, after applying the protector, they look just about new. Having used the 3m drill mounted version, I feel using this was easier to control and you could see the blemishes that I'd missed, unlike the 3m. (This kit even took out the swirl marks left by the 3m kit). I'm not a professional by any manner and the 3m may be better if you know what your doing but for a first timer I'd recommend this. Don't know how they'll look in a weeks time after the protector has worn off but there's enough protector to re apply (no protector included in 3m kit either). Rating based on this ...
