    Excellent Flagship for an outstanding brand. 10/10

    Excellent value on a flagship BOSS/Roland Product. It arrived exactly as described, basically new with everything functioning. I am still exploring the near limitless combinations of preamps and effects to use as patches. If you have the opportunity to pick one up lightly used as I did I would highly recommend the GT-1000. You will want to use a computer or the android or iphone app to edit patches on the fly. This product is a dream for those who want almost limitless versatility in guitar tones. Please note I am not a tone or pedal snob, and your experience may vary from mine.

    GT1000 - Many great tones & effects,'tone junkie' heaven, sturdy.

    Very extensive onboard collection of permanent tone patches for every music genre. Top notch effects. The patches can be easily modified, and saved, to get just the tone you're looking for. Easy to create your own patches from scratch, too. The patch and effect editing process, and the controls, are very similar to those of the Boss GT100; so, if you're upgrading from a GT100, the learning curve is not steep, at all. If you've never used a GT100, then your learning curve will be a bit steeper. But, I found the instructions fairly easy to navigate and understand. There is a ton of documentation. The GT1000 is deep. Almost every parameter is tweakable. So, if you're a tone junkie, like me, you'll appreciate that. Also, like the GT 100, the GT 1000 is built like a tank, like most, ...

    Great feature set and performance. Too much to go over but it has everything I was looking for. The UI is a little dated and I thought It would be hard to use compared to the competition but it's not too bad at all. And the computer and phone Bluetooth apps more than make up for it. The looper is nothing to brag about but it's great when used to dial in your tone which could take a while. I use mine on a Peavy 6505 MH in 4CM or thru an FRFR system.

    Worth every penny!

    A little learning curve with this one, but it sounds absolutely fantastic. Very dynamic. Especially using line in or effects loop input to bypass the amp preamp front end. I modified my home brew amp to do just that. Actually this would work better with a FRFR amp/speaker combo. I'm very happy with this processor.
