    JIMI HENDRIX - AMERICA'S GREATEST MUSICAL GENIUS

    This is; quite possibly, the finest compilation of biographical and photographic material honoring one of America's greatest musical icons to date. Previous efforts are typically toploaded with photograpic images over scant biographical material or vice versa. This effort; of such obvious literary merit, strikes a practical balance between accurate historical text and rare images. This book is a true keepsake. Shadwick walks us through the earliest years. Hendrix, the all-American boy growing up in Seattle. The heartwarming interaction with his family who helped foster his interest in music. We are moved along to the astonishing progression of his musical ability over a relatively short period of time. The simultaneous mastery of his instrument along with his unique vocal treatment ...

    This book is amazing!

    its quite the page turner. Its a very informative book i you wanna learn about a true rock god and his life. it starts at the begging, telling about what he might have been, an artist among other things. it goes all the way to the untimely end due to choking on his own vomit due to the acid... it is an amazing book and i just can't express how much its changed my life! i know that sounds corny, but its true!
