With a long-lasting battery and solid construction, the Nokia 6310i can withstand some of the most rugged conditions you put it through. This silver phone is built to handle the GSM Tri-Band networking system. As an unlocked device, you have the freedom of adding this phone to any of the four major wireless service providers or using it with a prepaid plan. The Nokia 6310i cell phones have a built-in SIM card slot. Use a mini-SIM card to transfer your information to and from compatible devices. The SIM card allows you to save settings, contacts, music files, and personal alert tones and take them with you if you sell your phone. Clearing out the information by removing the card is an added security benefit. Transfer this information into another cell phone by inserting the card into a compatible slot. A built-in phonebook offers you enough space to save up to 500 names complete with three different contact numbers. Access the last ten dialed, received, and missed calls that are made or come into your mobile device. The phone’s memory holds onto the last 150 text messages that are placed or received. You also have information from the last ten voice dialed numbers at your fingertips. The built-in display screen offers a resolution of 96-pixels by 65-pixels and up to six lines of data. This monochrome display is backlit giving you the ability to search and read messages or call information in all types of lighting. The dynamic font size featured on the Nokia 6310i cell phone makes for easy reading without straining your eyes. There are two different types of batteries that fit the Nokia 6310i.     Still the best no frills mobile phone - for 24/7/365 use. .

    If you just need a phone, but can text and get on internet GPRS, etc., but still primarily use as phone, with great clarity, battery life, etc. This is the phone to get. I have mine since 2002, on 24/7/365 for 12 years, never a problem, dropped several times, even, although I do take care of it in leather case. Nice physical keys. Comfortable to hold. I have smartphone but still prefer using this one for important calls than cannot be dropped. I have three of these phones, keeping as spares. One I only used to charge phone. 4 batteries, all original, from 12 years ago. I carry spare battery. The newer phones, cannot just swap out battery. Best non-fancy mobile phone out there. Looks cool too. A young girl at phone store said, OMG, you are still using it, that was my first ...

    forever classic

    if you're tired of everyday charging your android phone... used (for years) phone. and it's screen still haven't any scratches (even it is not a gorilla glass). and it's battery is still enough for ~10 days of non-frequent calls (with quarter of nowadays common capacity). and it has bluetooth, compatible with both handsfree and car kit (it was released in 2001). of cause, this phone is not for gaming or surfing. but it's for calls. while your android phones are not. and one more: this phone is the most ergonomic i ever see. everything - menus, design, screen, and keyboard. smartphones look like "a brick". this one is designed for your hand.

    Great phone for backup or for a long travel without power supply.

    This is the phone for talking. No extra unneeded (for me) bells'n'whistles, just loud ring, clear sound, very long battery life (from one to two WEEKS in my case). No mp3, no color screens, no camera. Black&white screen is clear and readable under ANY light conditions, buttons are well spaced and can be pressed easily even with gloves, bluetooth and T9 is working well. Very sturdy construction is still alive since 2002, just changed battery to the new one on my first phone - this is the third one in my hands. May be it looks a bit outdated, but surely distinctive.
