Policy-making in the EU has far-reaching implications for the EU's member states and citizens, and for the wider world. It is constantly evolving as part of this ongoing experiment in the collective governance of a multinational continent. The eighth edition of this comprehensive text explores the processes, institutions, and modes through which policy is made, before looking at key individual policies in detail. New to this Edition: Detailed assessments of the implications of politicization for European policy-making, Evaluation of the emerging consequences of the UK's departure on EU policy-making, New chapters on the EU's digital policy and development policy, Coverage of the 2015 surge in migrants to the EU, the Covid-19 pandemic, and the 'America First' foreign policy of the Trump administration Book jacket.

Reviews
There are seminal books and classics, and then there is the eighth edition of Policy-Making in the EU. I remember reading the first one when I was a young student and they have followed me throughout my career from academia to civil service via politics and back. A must for anyone who wants to understand the theory and practice of European policy making.

Item was delivered as advertised however it was not delivered in a box which allowed it to receive some minor damage. Book was in 2 very durable form fitted vinyl/plastic bags which would have been great had then been placed in a box to protect it. Seller was very easy to discuss issue with and the damage is slight. I would buy again from this seller.

Not standard size, used; priced like new standard size. Seller refused to pay return shipping for not-standard item, not noted in listing. I learned not to buy a book without a listed size; could be anything.
