An action-oriented strategy game in which you take control of sadistic (yet cute) little characters, Baldies invites players to wipe out the enemy Hairies and achieve domination. Centered mainly on resource management, players must assign their Baldies the roles of Scientist, Soldier, Worker, or Builder, each performing a vital function. <br><br>Balance is the underlying theme of the game, as you must be able to defend your holdings while steadily advancing and overtaking enemy positions. In addition to standard hand-to-hand combat, employ various devices to demolish those pesky Hairies. Scientists provide you with all sorts of goodies that allow you to turn roving animals into weapons of destruction, or rain fire upon your enemies.

    best game i own

    Baldies is on many consoles, First it was on Win95 for pc, after that is was ported to the Atari jagure CD system, next Sega saturn as an improt from japan called Baldy land. And now on Playstation 1. This one has all the fun from the prior ports, but the only thing thats stupid about the playstation version is the higest game level is 67. All the other versions of Baldies go up to stage 100! People who love populis for the sega genesis would like this game. It is well worth your time if you love Real Time Stratigy games where you take over a reaily smart AI. I love this game , i never thought i would see it agen (i played the Atari Jagure CD one when I was young and thought i would never get to play it agen untill MUD DUCK put it out on PSone) Next to the FF7 FF8 and FF9 , Baldies is all ...

    Surprisingly Great Game

    I bought this game for the ps1 because I have always wanted this game for my Atari jaguar system, however, I do not own the Jaguar cd attachment for it. It seemed like a really odd game by the description and what I had seen online. But after playing it I absolutely love it.It is extremely addicting and fun to play. I was very surprised. My hobby is collecting game and am very happy to have added it to my collection. Would Recommend!
