What a cleaner forget hire and splash this is the way to go .we have an aging dog and have to clean the occasional accident up .works a treat and a doddle to use basically out of the box fill it up and away you go .big plus is the included accessory pack this too is comprehensive .if I had to and my arm was twisted the only fault or failing is it is quite a large cleaning head. Good product and works well on carpets and upholstery BUT the handbook is poor with small illustrations that are not clear and poor description of the uses of the machine. Also very small print which does not help Not good enough for an expensive product and clearly written by someone who has a knowledge of the machine and takes for granted some of the procedures. Fitting the reservoirs and the hose is a fiddly process but gets better the more you use the machine. Bought this after much research and good reviews. We have Dogs and usually hire a Rug Doctor cleaner every year, so decided it would be cheaper to buy ourselves one. This Vax cleaner is easy to use and does the job well. The Quick wash does dry within an hour and the deep clean takes approximately 2-3 hrs. The hand tool works well on upholstery too with a great result. All the parts are removable to clean afterwards. The solution is quite expensive but cheaper to buy in bulk. Now I can clean our carpets twice a year or when needed so definitely worth purchasing. Bought this after much research and good reviews.
